The cryptoCertum kit is an indispensable tool that enables authentication in cooperation with the CEPiK Vehicle Identification System. This kit contains a cryptographic card, software and a reader, which allow handling and secure storage of public key certificates.
The cryptoCertum kit with reader has received a positive opinion from the Ministry of Internal Affairs. As for the use of the kit in the Cepik system, it is necessary to adjust the settings of the proCertum Cardmanager program, in particular to check the “CSP” option.
It is worth noting that the kit does not include a qualified certificate. This means that the cryptographic card in the kit is used for authentication, but does not have a special certificate to confirm its high security level.
